Rein Short, L.Ac.

Rein Short, L.Ac. is a Los Angeles based licensed acupuncturist and board-certified herbalist. She earned her Master’s in East Asian Medicine from Emperor’s College.

With a background in dance performance, Rein spent decades exploring the body as a vessel for creative, emotional, and spiritual expression. This deep relationship with movement and embodiment informs her approach to healing with each treatment thoughtfully tailored to address physical symptoms while tending to the energetic and emotional layers beneath them.

Rein meets each patient where they are, supporting the integration of healing into daily life in a practical and sustainable way. She is honored to share the wisdom of Chinese medicine while integrating modern clinical insight. Her treatments may include acupuncture, herbal medicine, moxibustion (heat therapy), Japanese-style non-insertive needling, cupping, electrical stimulation, gua sha, and bodywork.
